SUMMARY:Children's Liturgy of the Word
DESCRIPTION:Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) starts on September 6 and 7!\nWe all know young children can have trouble sitting still during Mass.   \nAt CLOW\, held during our 4:30 pm Saturday Mass and on Sunday at our 9:00 am and 10:30 am Masses\, they can listen and ask questions while we discuss the readings and Gospel. It’s amazing to see them engage! \nThe priest will invite them to come forward after the Opening Prayer\, receive a blessing and head to the chapel with our catechist. \nThey’ll return right after the homily…giving you a chance to really listen\, too.  Children receive a take-home activity sheet which enhances the weekly lesson from the gospel. \nNo need to sign up! Just tell your children and grandchildren about CLOW and encourage them to join.  \nWould you like to learn more about becoming a CLOW catechist or aide? We’d love the help! DESCRIPTION:Healing Hearts Grief Ministry\nFebruary 10 – March 17\, 2026\nTuesdays\, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm\nin Lehner Center \nChildren may have a difficult time to process emotions and feelings surrounding the loss of a loved one. \nIt can be tough for them to talk about these feelings or know what to do with them. While we can’t spare our children the pain of loss\, we can try thoughtful and hopeful activities focused on God’s love. \nHealing Hearts is a 6-week program designed to help and support children and adolescents who have lost a loved one and will focus on bringing hope\, healing and joy to your child. \nPlease contact Jennie at JPorco@StAmbrose.us or 330.460.7317 or Rachel at RButtitta@Staschool.us to RSVP.
