We have many priests during this time to hear individual confessions. \nOther opportunities for Confession: \n\nWeekly Reconciliation is on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the Church.\nConfessions for the homebound or those who cannot make it to the Church can be made by appointment\, please contact the Parish Office at 330.460.7300.\n\nDOWNLOAD Examination of Conscience Cards HERE\nAre you unsure if you’re able to receive God’s tender forgiveness through Reconciliation? SUMMARY:The Holy Archangels
DESCRIPTION:Every September 29\, we celebrate the Feast Day of the Archangels — Saint Michael\, Saint Gabriel\, and Saint Raphael.\nMichael\, (God’s warrior) was the archangel who fought against Satan and all his evil angels\, defending all the friends of God. He is the protector of all humanity from the ‘snares of the devil’. Gabriel (Strength of God) announced to Zachariah the forthcoming birth of John the Baptist\, and to Mary\, the birth of Jesus. His greeting to the Virgin\, “Hail\, full of grace\,” is one of the most familiar and frequent prayers of our Catholic faith. Raphael (Medicine of God) is the archangel who took care of Tobias on his journey. \n\nSaint Michael is the patron saint of grocers\, soldiers\, doctors\, mariners\, first responders\, and police. SUMMARY:Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi
DESCRIPTION:Saint Francis is remembered for his generosity to the poor\, his willingness to minister to the lepers\, and for his love for animals and nature. He is the Catholic Church’s patron saint of animals and the environment.\nIn honor of Saint Francis of Assisi\, the blessing of animals shows that all of God’s creatures are cherished and beloved. A blessing of pets is held around the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi\, where anyone can bring their animal companions to church (dogs\, cats\, birds\, any animal creature) to receive a blessing and celebrate the special bond between humans and animals. \nOur annual Noah’s Ark Pet Blessing is usually held on the Sunday nearest to Saint Francis’ Feast Day. We try to have several vendors with information and services available for your pet\, and pets for adoption during this event. Leading up to the pet blessing\, our Noah’s Ark Ministry will have animal cages at the entrance of the Church for donation of pet food or gently used blankets and towels to the local animal shelter.\nThe Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi provides an opportunity to teach children about endangered or abused animals and what we can do to help.

SUMMARY:Our Lady of the Rosary
DESCRIPTION:The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated since the Rosary brings us closer to our Blessed Mother and she brings us closer to her Son\, Jesus Christ!\nOur Lady came to the aid of Christian soldiers in the Battle of Lepanto\, and\, later\, Pope Pius V instituted a feast in thanksgiving to Our Lady of Victory. Eventually\, Pope Gregory XIII changed the name of the Feast to Our Lady of the Rosary to emphasize the power of Mary’s intercession in times of trouble. \nDuring October\, which is “month of the Rosary\,” our Legion of Mary will have a table at the entrances of the Church with free Rosaries and information on how to pray the Rosary. They invite everyone to join them on Thursdays at 6:00 pm to the Chapel for their 20-minute Rosary Challenge throughout October.\nCelebrate with us by joining us at our Mass or Prayer Service. Click/tap here for the schedule.
