Please make sure that your pet is leashed or caged for your pet and other’s protection. \nWe will also have several vendors with information and services available for your pet\, and pets for adoption during this event. Our Noah’s Ark Ministry will have animal cages at the entrance of the Church for donation of pet food or gently used blankets and towels to the local animal shelter. \nSaint Francis is remembered for his generosity to the poor\, his willingness to minister to the lepers\, and for his love for animals and nature. He is the Catholic Church’s patron saint of animals and the environment. In honor of Saint Francis of Assisi\, the blessing of animals shows that all of God’s creatures are cherished and beloved. We will ride south for 1.5 hours to Lock 15 Brewery in Akron. There will be an opportunity for lunch at Lock 15 and an option to return to Boston via the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Cost for the train is $5 which includes the rider and the bike. The train arrives near Lock 15 at 2:30pm and departs at 3:00pm.
